Industrial engineering class

  Total student 60++ registered for this subject.  This subject comprise vast topics of IE including TQM, ergonomics, work study.... At the end of Semester, insya-Allah the student will able to understand and know what tools or techniques should be applied in the industry. In general IE is a system to minimise wastes through implementing new technology, simplify the process, reduce travel distance between workstation to workstation.  Now, all selling price were determined by customer, the manufacturer can only reduce manufacturing cost in order to increase profit.  Fail to minimise manufacturing cost, the customer will find other alternatives.  In 21st century, all manufacturers must think and find new strategy to reduce manufacturing cost.  This is called kaizen by Toyota.  In Toyota, all employees are seriously think to minimise cost by giving ideas to improve their working area.
