Briefing session for metal casting lab by JP. All rules and regulation including safety were briefed to student. The first task was proposing product for project assessment. The features should be included in the pattern design are hollow and allowance. At the end of the project, the assessment will be carried based on project management, pattern design, product quality, peer evaluation and justification on product achievement.

Prior to learn this subject, the student should have knowledge on the metallurgy, particularly on phase diagram. They should know the cooling phase for metal need to be casted.
